Home / The Building Services Summit

bss-logoThe core theme of this conference will be: specifying, installing and operating building services to promote long-term efficient operation of buildings – new and old.

The cost of energy, and related legislation on demand reduction, will continue to be pressing issues for building owners and operators well into 2014 and beyond. Building services (heating, ventilating, conditioning, lighting etc) use around 80% of energy in ‘non-dwelling’ properties.

By focusing on good practice in the area of building services, it is possible to lower energy use and hence costs; to improve lifetime value of the equipment through better maintenance; and to reduce unnecessary running time of building services.

Presented by both B&ES and BCIA, with support form FETA, CIBSE and CSA, this conference will focus on PRACTICAL advice for delegates, with information they can USE in their own buildings. CASE STUDIES will be central to the content, as will input from EXPERTS on the current legal requirements and government policy.

The dedicated event website will be operational shortly, but for further information in the meantime please contact the Event Director – Andrew Castle at Touchwave Media.

Date: 27th November 2014
Venue: Barbican, London
